Art has always been a passion of mine, so it felt natural to incorporate artists and art shows into the nonprofit events KPW Productions supports. We strive to continually give back to our community and art shows contribute to that goal in many ways. Local artists, such as renowned oil painter Genevieve Snyder, use their skill, talent, and influence to bring awareness to worthy causes, such as land conservation efforts.

Genevieve creates dynamic works of art that explore idyllic countrysides and the relationship between nature, animals, and man. For the art lover who enjoys rustic landscapes and the thrill of the hunt, Snyder’s stunning work is on display and for sale at the Rushton Conservation Center during her namesake art show December 8-13. Genevieve is a personal friend of mine and also a fellow Radnor Hunt Member who has painted many gorgeous works of the foxhounds, fox hunters, and beautiful landscapes of Willistown. I’m volunteering with this show and am excited to see her fantastic paintings become a noteworthy addition to any new or established art collection.

Genevieve says, “with its horse farms, cornfields and dirt roads, Willistown is awash in beauty. The land and the wildlife in this area are threatened daily by encroaching development. It has given me artistic inspiration for years, it is my turn to give back if I can.” Genevieve will be donating fifty-percent of her art show’s sales to the Willistown Conservation Trust.

The Trust’s mission is to “preserve and manage the open land, rural character, scenic, recreational, historic, agricultural and natural resources of the Willistown area and nearby communities, and to share these unique resources with people of all ages and backgrounds to inspire, educate and develop a lifelong commitment to the land and the natural world.”
