An exotic trip to Havana, Cuba left such an indelible impression
on our client, that it became the inspiration for a beautiful celebration.
The terrace of The Philadelphia Museum of Art was the amazing venue
where TableArt had the pleasure of collaborating
with a fabulous team of event professionals
to design a memorable evening that captured the feeling of
old world Havana in the heart of Philadelphia.
Laura Novak was behind the lens to capture all of the details including
this incredible image of the Philadelphia Museum of Art as seen through
the clear top tent provided by EventQuip.
A traditional Cuban tile was the inspiration
for this dance floor that was created exclusively for this event.
The pattern also inspired details such as the save the date and
custom matches paired with “Havana” cigar favors.
TableArt worked closely with Two PaperDolls on every detail.
Dramatic manzanita branches accented with tropical air plants
was a marvelous first impression and focal point.
Guests were invited to sign the vintage wood initials
lit by romantic mercury glass hurricanes.
“Live Walls”, reminiscent of the lush, overgrown environment of Havana,
were suspended from the pitch of the tent and were used to divide
the cocktail lounge from the main dining area. The feeling of old world Cuba
was enhanced by vintage furniture and mercury glass bars.
Wrought iron chandeliers were decorated with Spanish moss, smilax and air plants
and were suspended above vintage wood farm tables.
TableArt custom designed white linen runners trimmed with Spanish Lace.
Vases with anenome, dahlia, garden roses and blooming jasmine
creating a beautiful and organic tablescape.
Twilight turned to evening and thanks to the incredible lighting provided by Eventions,
guests were able to see all the accents and details.
Stephen Starr Events went all out with traditional tastes of Cuban fare.
TableArt loved transforming a clients inspiration into a beautiful reality.
Many thanks to all of the crews and staff members that helped make this happen.
