Love is in the Air was the bespoke bridal event of the year and was presented by STARR Events, held in January at The Horticulture Center in Philadelphia. This evening was devoted to brides so they can get inspired for their memorable day and to meet local vendors to help them create weddings that are the stuff dreams are made of.
For the event, we were inspired by a destination wedding we are planning in Tulum, Mexico. Our team used the raw beauty and simple, organic details of this exotic location to create the environment complete with an ethereal tablescape, an inviting sitting area, a display of thoughtfully crafted florals, and so much more.
The display highlighted neutral colors like shades of grey, beach finds such as sea glass, weather washed textures, and sophisticated touches of walnut and black.
Intricately designed, the dining table (Maggpie Vintage) was a white washed farm table with a grey linen runner and accents of driftwood, air plants, and Spanish moss. Installed above the table was an iron chandelier with the same accents of driftwood, air plants, and Spanish moss.
Pillar candles were strategically placed across the table and in the chandelier to create romantic and soft lighting. Surrounding the area were striking florals such as palm leaves, bear grass, and monstera leaves.
We coordinated with many of the local vendors to create exceptional displays, such as a tequila and ceviche station with STARR Events, that was decorated with fresh fruits and vegetables from Mexico. Maggpie Vintage and our team collaborated in the design of relaxing lounge in neutral colors, air plants, and textured fabrics.
We worked with The Papery to showcase the design of personalized invitations, menu cards, and calligraphy escort cards on ivory linen. We also worked with Eventions to create a gallery of images from previous events, as well as an installation of Edison bulbs. Their lighting focused the guests attention on the amazing details of our space.
