A few weeks ago I wrote about the venue’s decor inspiring the decor for an event.  This event occurred on Saturday.  A bar mitzvah at the Independence Seaport Museum.

The invitation, direction card, and response card all had a nautical detail.  The inside of the envelope even had a nautical map of the waters the host sails during the summer.  Kramer Drive Stationary did a fabulous job creating this.

The nautical map was also displayed on the hightops tables.

The tables were not identified by numbers but by the flag and the escort cards had nautical flags to denote the table assignment.

The theme made its way on to the tabletops and the room separator.  We had sailboats with sea glass and glass fishing floats on the tables with monkey ball key chains as the napkin detail and spandex sails to separate the kids area from the adults area.

The event was a sailor’s paradise.
