Happily ever after started in the rolling hills of the Brandywine Valley
at The Sweetwater Farm for one of our favorite couples.
It was a perfect day for a wedding and the perfect venue for this casual rustic wedding.
JPG Photography was behind the lens to capture all the moments.
The bride carried a bouquet designed with a luscious mixture of hydrangea, spray roses, fressia, lisianthus and scabiso. The bridesmaids carried lush bouquets of
purple hydrangea, lisianthus, fressia and limonium flowers.
It was a spectacular day!
Guests followed a path of garden stakes designed with brightly colored
grumphrema, zinna and cockscomb that led them to the cocktail reception tent.
During the cocktail hour, guests tossed shiny pennies into the well
with wishes for the newlyweds.
Guests lounged on the lawn sipping lemonade and specialty drinks
served from the farmers market inspired martini bar.
Countless touches such as chalk board menu boards placed inside
farm fresh wildflower arrangements celebrated the couples relaxed atmosphere
they wanted for their family and friends.
The sun was setting and it was time to move inside to the main reception.
Clothes pins held placecards and inverted bundles of blooms
from a simple line of kitchen twine.
A green and white floral dinner plate was place on a woven rattan charger.
Bundles of lavender, statice and veronica were gently tucked into
an exquisite hemstich linen napkin. In lieu of a favor,
the couple made a donation to Cradles to Crayons.
What a difference a chair makes. The ladder back chairs completed the look for the guest tables. A rustic lantern was placed in the center of each guest table and surrounded by collections of wild flowers designed in various apothecary and mason jars.
More amazing details!
The distressed wood cake stand was designed with a soldered heart
and arrow inscribed with the couples initials…a wonderful keepsake for them.
The soaring ceilings of the newly renovated 1750’s bank barn and the twinkling string lights provided an incredible atmosphere for dinner and dancing.
We hope you have enjoyed these images as much as we have.
