There is something undeniably romantic about the
1750’s bank barn at Sweetwater Farm located in Glen Mills, PA
that made it the perfect venue for our couple’s bohemian-chic wedding.
At the very first meeting, our bride dreamed of a bohemian-chic feeling and look.
We designed an atmosphere of detailed layers, mixed textures and
a slight hint of unconventional whimsy.
Rather than a traditional veil or comb, a delicate and ethereal floral crown
was a must. The soft color palette of cream, blush, peach and lavender
and grey added a summery warmth to the barns natural interior.
Lush arrangements of peonies, garden roses, astilbe, and herbs were
designed in stone containers and vintage jars. Blooming vines wrapped up and around
wrought iron candelabras which gave the appearance that they were growing
out of the tabletop. A lavish and luxurious runner was created
from loose petals and flower heads intertwining among pillar candles
placed inside antique glass pedestal vessels and spotted gold cylinders.
From paper details to centerpieces, all of the intricate touches
remained true to her vision which was captured beautifully
by the photographers of We Laugh We Love.
